I have enrolled in the gym to lose some extra pounds which I gained from unmonitored eating of pizzas, hamburgers, ice cream, pasta, chicken and a lot more. I lost a few pounds on the first two months because I really spent a lot of hours working out in the gym and followed a strict diet to get myself back in good sexy shape the soonest time possible. And yet during my Christmas vacation, I allowed myself to indulge in different kinds of sumptuous meals and as an expected consequence of the silly thing I have done, I gained back the pounds that I lost. Arrghhh! The worse thing is that I don’t feel like going back to the gym anymore. So how can I lose weight faster and still be healthy?
A friend suggested that I involve myself into sports like tennis. He doesn’t go to the gym but he plays tennis and observes proper diet to keep himself physically fit Read the rest of this entry…

Many people love to express their thoughts, emotions and opinions through writing, and I am one of them. I love to write about anything that awakens my interest or something that other people are interested in. Before, I used to write these things in my private journal and no one else knew about the things I have written. Nobody read about some poems I have dedicated for a special person in my life, no one knew about what my opinions were about controversial issues happening in the country, not one person knew about the things that made me smile, laugh and cry. Even when there were times that I want to share these stuff that I write to other people close to me and those who don’t know me, there was no venue for that.

But with the advent of computers and the Internet, I could say that people have found a new way of expressing their thoughts, and that is, through blogging. Read the rest of this entry…

Despite my busy schedule, I am amazed that I still find time to sit back and relax with a book in my hands. I love to read novels especially when the book is written by Nicholas Sparks. He is one of my favorite authors and I really admire him for his knack in presenting romantic stories. I really liked every book that I have read from his collection. He has thirteen published novels and I have read five of them namely: “The Notebook”, “Message in a Bottle”, “A Walk to Remember”, “A Bend in the Road” and the most recent one was “The Wedding”.
Summary:
Wilson Lewis has been married to his wife, Jane, for thirty years and the way things are happening in their marriage, he thinks that he and his wife have drifted apart and the most painful part of it is that he feels that his wife had fallen out of love with him and he knew that there is no one else to blame but himself.
Despite the inspiration that he gets from his in-laws Noah and Allie Calhoun (whose own love story was told in The Notebook) Read the rest of this entry…

I was pondering on what topic I will write about and it suddenly occurred to me that finding out about how compatible me and my special someone are seemed to awaken my interest. As a Christian, I do not really rely on the Chinese zodiacs for my life’s destiny or fortune because I believe in God’s providence and the importance of hardwork and perseverance but I certainly give my due respect to these things.
To satisfy the curiosity building up in me, I searched for our birthdays and I found out that I was born in the “year of the pig” and my elemental sign is water pig while my partner on the other hand was born in the “year of the dog” and his elemental sign is water dog. I learned that the dog is the 11th sign of the zodiac while pig is the 12th. Some of the positive traits of people born in the year of the dog are loyal, dependable, funny, honest, intelligent and straightforward while negative ones are quick-temper, over-protective, blunt, arrogant and aloof. Some of the positive traits of people born in the year of the pig are caring, tolerant, patient, straightforward, sensitive and hospitable while negative ones are vulnerable, spendthrift, indulgent and naive. I’m familiar that there are online drugstores available but I did not really know until now that online medical consultations can also take place. This is really a good innovation to health care because people who need medicine and who do not really require any physical exam can purchase these products through the Internet in the comfort of their homes or office. With regard to the online consultation, an online questionnaire needs to be filled out by the customer which will be submitted to a licensed physician through a secure order system. Once the order request is received by the licensed physician, the information provided by the customer will be reviewed and it may be approved or declined. When an order is approved, the licensed physician will prescribe the medicine and through the secure ordering system, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy where it will be filled and shipped. I went to the mall yesterday and I passed by a video store which had a big sale on many selected items. I got psyched in taking advantage of it as prices were practically 50% to 75% off! With this kind of offer, of course, there were many people who flocked to the store and I was one of them.
I came across a lot of films which I have already watched on cable as well as in cinemas but there was one movie which I really liked during my junior year in high school that I really want to get hold of. I searched for it among the racks of DVDs and VCDs but I didn’t see it. It occurred to me that asking assistance from the store attendant will definitely help me in looking for it and yes, I was absolutely right. When I asked the store attendant for a copy of the movie, 10 Things I Hate About You, it only took him 3 seconds to locate it. I was sure glad I thought about asking for assistance or else I could have spent an hour or more looking for it. Read the rest of this entry…

I have learned that construction is the largest industry in the UK. There are currently around 2 million people employed in over 700 various types of work. Considered as an essential industry in a country, the demand for it will always be there and anyone who joins it will definitely have many opportunities to enhance their skills and abilities through a variety of training and learning. It is also vital that the people in the workforce are skilled and qualified.
There are different ways to develop the skills and competence of construction workers. As a young individual who wants to start a career in the construction industry, you can gain your skills by being an apprentice and the skills you acquired will be acknowledged by a nationally-recognized and competence-based qualification known as NVQ/SVQs. When I have some free time to just sit back and relax, I look forward to watching ABS-CBN’s shows especially during Primetime Bida. I learned that the biggest game show in the country, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, will be replaced by a new popular game show which is considered as the longest-running game show in the United States, Wheel of Fortune. This show will be aired on January 14, 2008 before TV Patrol World and it will be hosted by the Game Show Queen of the Philippines, Ms. Kris Aquino.
I find this upcoming show very interesting because I am a big fan of Wheel of Fortune and I know that I will surely watch this show. Through the trailers that I have seen, I think that popular celebrities like Ruffa Gutierrez, Martin Nievera and Mariel Rodriguez will be its first set of contestants.
When I have time, I also watch soap operas in ABS-CBN like Maging Sino ka Man, Lastikman, Ysabella and many more. Read the rest of this entry…

I have learned that there are now more than 2000 online casinos out there. Just thinking about these numbers overwhelm me and it led me to wonder how on earth can one distinguish which ones of these are good or not. It occurred to me that evaluations made by writers play a vital role in shaping a player’s decision.
I have a friend who just loves to play online games especially online casinos. He told me that site reviews are important because they guide the online casino players, whether new or experienced, on which ones to choose. My friend came across a site that makes reviews for online casinos and poker rooms. The site recommends two of the best and most trusted Read the rest of this entry…
