Amazing Race Asia Season 2

I had wanted to write about this very outstanding and widely-viewed reality TV show for quite some time and yet I never had the chance until today. Ever since this newly aired TV show began, I practically became one of its avid viewers. So far there were 4 episodes shown and I am proud to say that I have watched them all. There were two instances, including last night, when I almost failed to watch it because I had commitments outside but due to my love for this show, I really managed to cut short these appointments and went home rushing to catch the fun and exciting episodes.
Amazing Race Asia 2 made its debut last November 22, 2007. Singapore kickstarted the race where Allan Wu, the show’s gorgeous host, and ten official teams assembled at the Asian Civilizations Museum by the Singapore River. Teams consist of siblings, ex-housemates, friends and a married couple. These adventurous teams who will fight for $100,000 are absolutely unique because this is the first time that the management included a team from Japan and a teammate with a hearing disability.
These are the 10 official teams:
1) Pamela Chong (Professional Dancer) and Vanessa Chong (Artiste Manager) - sisters from Malaysia
2) Marc Nelson (TV Host and Model) and Rovilson Fernandez (TV Host and Magazine Editor) - best buddies from the Philippines
3) Ann Tan (Business Owner) and Diane Douglas (Marketing Manager / Teacher) - dancing mums from Malaysia
4) Brett Money (Physiotherapist) and Kinaryosih (Model/Actress) - dating 2 years from Indonesia; second team eliminated
5) Aurelia Chenat (Model) and Sophie Teng (Writer) - ex-housemates from Hongkong;third team eliminated
6) Paula Taylor (Actress/VJ/Model) and Natasha Monks (Public Relations/ Brand Consultant) - childhood friends from Thailand
7) Collin Low (Regional Sales Director) and Adrian Yap (Business Development Manager) - gym buddies from Singapore
8) Sawaka Kawashima (Singer/Interpreter) and Daichi Kawashima (Interpreter) - siblings from Japan
9) Henry Reed (Retired US Navy Senior/Chief Petty Officer) and Terri Reed (Housewife) - married couple for 13 years from the Philippines
10) Monica Lo (Actress/Model/Student) and Edwin Lo (Event Organizer) - dating for 10 years from Hongkong; first team eliminated
Among these teams, I like Marc and Rovilson as well as Henry and Terri. These two are my favorites because they give spice to the show.
