Lesson learned after the pain

Last Thursday, I finally had my tooth extracted. In the past few weeks, I have been suffering from pain every time my impacted molar tooth would ache. I sometimes had sleepless nights because of it. I went to the dentist around three weeks ago and was advised to take some medication first because the gums surrounding my tooth were swollen and I was scheduled for a tooth extraction the week after but unfortunately, I didn’t show up to the dentist because on that same day when I had my appointment to the dentist, my tooth was aching and I know for a fact that the dentist would still not pull it out. Thus, I still experienced the pain every time it aches. For another week, I still continued with the medication and when last Thursday came, I was sure glad that I finally said goodbye to my impacted molar tooth.
My dentist gave me some aftercare instructions for the big wound on my gums. I was informed that a common problem for tooth extraction is the formation of a “dry socket.” Read the rest of this entry…
Is that Victoria Secret?

I know this sounds piffle but nonetheless, I still want to share about it.
I was riding on a jeepney on my way home and an unexpected thing happened that somehow made me think that things as trifle as this could happen, making a typical day unusual. I was deeply thinking about something and staring outside the jeepney at nothing in particular on stuff that I passed by, when someone beside me jolted me out of my thoughts. It absolutely annoyed me but friendly as I am, I entertained the question the lady asked me. I thought it was really important but to my surprise it was utterly trivial. Top 5 Phones in My Wish List

People have different interests. That, I think is a given. Some are crazy about music, nature, sports, science, art, food, etc. I also love these things though, but there’s one thing I could add in the list and that would be…cellphones. I just simply love them. I think it was in 2005 when I really fancied them. I could remember that every two to three months I would change my cellphone. I was an avid user of Nokia phones that time and I kept switching from one Nokia model to another. I enjoyed doing that but it was also very costly. It showed how extravagant I was. Due to that quite alarming excessive expenditure, I was told by my Dad not to spend too much on cellphones because there are more important things to save for other than cellphones. I was an obedient daughter so, I heed his advice. When I lost my last expensive cellphone due to uncontrollable circumstances, I bought a cheaper mobile phone. It no longer had the features of my previous phones but I was really amazed that I was able to keep it for 9 months now. Wow! I broke the record, my own record at that.
Even though I don’t have any plan to buy a new expensive phone this time, I still can’t keep myself from admiring new models that are coming out in the market. I’m planning to buy one of these phones by the end of the year. I don’t know know how much they cost but I sure do like them. Yet I think that by then there will be newer and better models. Some Crazy Thoughts

It’s quite alarming that I no longer know how to write. I have a big problem organizing my thoughts. Mind you, I don’t even have something in mind when I’m given a topic. I find it hard to look for the right words and put them in order to make a good sentence. How pitiful I am! Where have my skills in writing gone? And in the first place, do I really have that skill? Whoa! Sounds like I really have a huge problem. Why can’t I just sort what’s on mind? Let’s give it a try this time. The topic would be “What is the difference of your college life and your current life?”
I could say that going to college was one hell of a ride. My first course was Accountancy. I had difficulty with it so I shifted to what people say as an easier course, Information Management. Damn! Read the rest of this entry…
My Passion for Writing

I cannot remember the last time that I wrote an article, an essay, a letter, a poem or even just a simple paragraph. It feels like decades already since then though it was only a few years ago and now, I find myself grasping for words on how I could start making one. The good thing is, I find it a challenge to go back to what I wanted to do. To go back to my passion…WRITING.
I have always loved writing. Through it, I can pour out my rants, fears, doubts, sorrows, frustrations, failures, heartaches, success, opinions and so much more. It also allows me to share my ideas and knowledge to other people. There are times when I don’t feel like sharing my thoughts and emotions to others especially about my hurts, disappointments, etc., I grab a pen and paper and begin unburdening myself from everything that is inside me.
