We went to see the movie entitled Journey to the Center of the Earth. We were expecting it to be a remake of the novel but interestingly they made it an adventure movie with a similar style to National Treasure.
The movie was a great adventure movie for the family. We laughed several times watching the film and we had a reborn interest of reading novels by Jules Verne.
The reason I said it was like National Treasure, it because it looks like it will become a series of movies staring both Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson and their adventures, and their next stop is…. Atlantis (spoiler alert!).
Overall it was a great adventure movie for the entire family.

Manila Ocean Park. It’s one of the big fuss nowadays. It was opened on February 29, 2008. I heard about it on the news when it was featured in TV Patrol World. I got intrigued by it because it is the first Oceanarium in the Philippines. With much curiosity, there are a lot of people who really want to visit the place and see for themselvesĀ what this spectacular place offers. I was one of those people who want to experience the beauty of the first and largest aquarium facility in the Philippines. With much enthusiasm to see the place, I went there with someone last Saturday (March 8, 2008).
There were a lot of people indeed. There was a very long line of people too excited to see the Oceanarium and we all had to be patient to wait in line. But after the tiresome wait for almost 2 hours, me and my companion finally got in. There were two doors where people gain entry to the Oceanarium. Above those doors were detectors which count the number of people who enter it. I was shocked to see the figures because on that day at around 5pm, there were almost 9000 visitors and people still kept coming in! Read the rest of this entry…

I watched the most-awaited film “My Big Love” yesterday at SM MegaMall Cinema 10. This movie is starred by promising young movie stars in the industry namely Toni Gonzaga, Sam Milby and Kristine Hermosa. Co-stars in the film are Sandy Andolong, Ricardo Cepeda, Malou de Guzman, Janus del Prado, Jaymee Joaquin, Michelle Madrigal, Lito Pimentel, Aldred Gatchalian and many more. I have seen its trailer on TV several times and people who have already watched it blurted words of praise on how wonderful and romantic the movie is. I somehow got intrigued to that but even before I heard comments from people who have already seen the movie, I already planned to watch it by the time I knew that it is going to be shown as a post-Valentine film.
The story is about a pastry chef named Macky (Sam Milby) who has struggled with his weight for a long time. His dream girl is Ninia (Kristine Hermosa) who is also his chat mate. He constantly gives her pastries and flowers without revealing himself. Until such time that they decided to meet but unfortunately, it was a total disaster. As a result, he hired Aira (Toni Gonzaga) as his personal trainer and as they worked together to achieve Macky’s ideal weight, they both learned to like and appreciate each other. It was not long when an offer from Japan came Aira’s way and she decided to accept it, being the breadwinner of the family. Two years passed and the Macky that everyone used to laugh at has now become one of the sought-after bachelors in the city and who is soon-to-be engaged to his girlfriend Ninia. It was also at this time that Aira’s and Macky’s paths crossed again. The confusion and turmoil led into heartaches for the three people involved in the love triangle. It is now up to Macky who he will choose as his big love: Ninia, the girl he had always dreamed of or Aira, the girl who has always accepted him for who and what he is? Read the rest of this entry…
