Prinsesa ng Banyera

A new soap opera of ABS-CBN entitled Prinsesa ng Banyera has just made it’s debut on Philippine television. This teleserye is starred by a powerful cast. The story evolves on the lives of twin girls, Maningning (Kristine Hermosa) and Mayumi/Daphne (Angelika de la Cruz) who were born out of wedlock because their mother was raped. Maningning is a beautiful kind-hearted, sincere and loving daughter. She is endearingly called “Prinsesa ng Banyera”. Mayumi, on the other hand, is the twin of Maningning who is also good-looking but her beauty is superficial. She is ambitious and selfish and despises their poor lifestyle. She had always dreamed of a rich and luxurious life.
Other cast are Charles (Rafael Rosel IV) who is the son of Rosa, Eric (TJ Trinidad) is one of Maningning’s friends who truly loves her , virgie (Jacklyn Jose) is the weak-hearted mother of the twins, Rosa(Shamaine Buencamino) is the long time best friend of Virgie who betrayed her , Sigmund (Allan Paule) is the town brat who fell in love with Virgie, Harry (Neil Ryan Sese) is the crook friend of Sigmund and Habagat (Dino Imperial) is the teenage brother of Maningning and Mayumi.
With the powerful cast and a great story, I’m sure that this will be another big hit among the ABS-CBN shows. I will be one of its avid viewers.
