Starting last January 1, 2008, Sky Cable introduced six new channels that kick started the New Year.
1) Balls (Channel 34) – a mixture of sports events and tournaments
2) AXN Beyond (Channel 35) – Series like “Lost” and “Supernatural” as well as new shows like “The Dresden Files” and “Painkiller Jane” are shown
3) Kidsco (Channel 38 on Sky Cable Gold) – newest kids channel from Hallmark
4) Fox Crime (Channel 50) – showcases crime and suspense and action-packed series
5) Maxxx (Channel 51) – three words describe this channel: action, pleasure and one-of-a-kind entertainment
6) Velvet (Channel 53) – total entertainment for women
I have been a subscriber of Sky Cable for a few months now. My previous cable company used to offer channels like Travel and Living Asia and Disney Channel but when I changed to Sky Cable, I was quite sad that these channels were not offered to Sky Cable Silver subscribers. I was very glad to know that last January 1, 2008, these channels were made available to Sky Cable Silver subscribers. Thank you Sky Cable!
